Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance

For the 22nd year in a row, some of the finest automobiles in the world will come to Amelia Island for the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.  Over 250 rare and vintage vehicles from all over the globe will be on display March 10-12 at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island and on the beautiful fairways of the Golf Club of Amelia Island. The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance was recently named Octane Magazine's EFG International Historic Motoring Award for the Best Motoring Event of the Year - the second time in the past four years that the Amelia Island event has won this prestigious international award. Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser, Sr. is the honoree for the 2017 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.  Unser's Indianapolis 500 stats alone are as extraordinary as his remarkable versatility. Three decades ago he became one of just three racers to win the "500" four times and is the only Indy winner to have both a brother and a son who are "500" winners. A highlight of the 2017 Concours d'Elegance will be nine "Movie Cars" from feature films including James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger (1964), a 1924 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Riviera Salamanca from Sabrina (1954), and the 1949 Buick Roadmaster convertible from Rain Man (1988).   The main show day for the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is Sunday, March 12. Other highlights of the weekend include The Porsche Driving Experience, RM Sotheby's auction, Eight Flags Road Tour, test drives with various manufacturers, "Japanese Racing - The Men Behind the Victories" seminar, book signings, Motor Expo, Cars & Coffee at the Concours, "Legends of the Leaping Cat" - Jaguar Racing Drivers' seminar, and the Mercedes-Benz Gala Dinner.   Please visit for ticket information and a complete schedule of events.
